Accessing the Cluster

There are two methods for accessing the cluster SSH and the Citrix Receiver.

OnDemand Portal (Recommended) is a Web interface which allows upload and download files; create, edit, submit, and monitor jobs; run GUI applications; and connect via SSH, all via a web browser, with no client software to install and configure. For more information, click here.

# SSH is a command line interface, and comes built-in to Linux and OS X operating systems. This requires a bit technical knowledge, but provides much greater control and access to applications which don't have graphical launchers. For more information on connecting via SSH, click here.

Citrix Receiver, This graphical method uses a webpage to connect a session into the cluster. Once logged in, you can choose either access the Production HPC cluster or the Development HPC cluster, for more information about the Citrix Receiver, click here.
