Research Production HPC All users have a default disk quota of 100 GB and a job walltime quota of 10000 hours per quarter. Both of these can be requested to be increased by sending an email to Research IT Support. Please include the budget number in the request.

Direct login or SSH to the compute nodes are not allowed, since this can pose both a security and performance risk to other users. It is advised that users that requires SSH logins to use interactive sessions via the scheduler.

Each user has a simultaneous run limit of 125 cores and a simultaneous queue limit of 1000 jobs. Any advance resource reservation request will be charged for the whole reservation time regardless of actual usage. If you or your research group contributed hardware (cores) to the cluster, we will reserve half of the contributed cores for your project members and the rest of the cores will be available to everyone in the HPC as a shared resource.

Running jobs on the Head nodes are not advisable, since the purpose is for login and submitting jobs.
